EVOLUTION OF SEEDAC
After success with a leading Information Technology Services firm, Suresh Nair launched SEEDAC, a US based IT professional services organization in the year 2004. The business model was simple in those days: Work with local corporations to place well-trained programmers at the customer’s location for project work. But the world and the approach to delivering technology services would change quite dramatically in the coming years.
In 2006, when most IT services firms were focused on delivering on-site services, SEEDAC was busy launching its Global Development Center in India. By leveraging the outstanding pool of technology talent, a 12-hour time zone variance, and economies of scale, SEEDAC became one of the efficient and cost-effective firms to run an around-the-clock IT project approach.
HISTORY OF SEEDAC COLLEGE
Started a Technical College offering Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma programs in Computer Applications, Computerized Interior Design and 3D Modeling using AutoCAD.
Entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Bharathiar University as a Partner Institution offering undergraduate and post graduate degree programs including BBA, BCA, B.Com., MBA and MCA.
Ceased taking admissions to Bharathiar University degree programs considering the UGC orders and regulations then in conducting such programs.
Earned affiliation from the University of Calicut to conduct full-time regular undergraduate degree programs including B.A (English), B.Sc. (Chemistry) and B.Com. (Computer Application).
Received continued affiliation from the University of Calicut for B.A (English), B.Sc. (Chemistry), and B.Com. (Computer Application) undergraduate degree programs.
Government of Kerala granted administrative sanction to conduct various undergraduate degree programs recognizing the college as an approved higher education institution in the State.
Earned approval from the University of Calicut to conduct full-time regular Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program in Physics.
Commenced the construction of state-of-the-art campus building in close proximity to the historical town of Sreekrishnapuram, surrounded by lush green trees and rivers.
Earned approval from the University of Calicut to conduct full-time regular Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree program in Finance.
College campus has moved to the newly constructed state-of-the-art building in close proximity of the historical town of Sreekrishnapuram, surrounded by lush green mountains and rivers!
Earned approval from the University of Calicut to conduct full-time regular Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree program in Psychology.
Earned approval from the University of Calicut to conduct full-time regular Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree program in Economics.
